Idaho City and Majestic Mountain Ranch offer a plethora of activities for visitors to enjoy. On property activities include hot tubs filled with natural spring water from ROCKS Natural Spring Water. The Ranch is ideal for a corporate retreat, meetings or team building events. Large Family events, reunions, and weddings are available on a reservation basis, call for special pricing as availability is limited. The Bunkhouse is a perfect place to host a bachelor or bachelorette party, or just for your family or friends to gather as individuals or as a group.
OFF PROPERTY ACTIVITIES
Majestic Mountain Ranch is a prime location for four season outdoor activities. Snowmobiling, ATV, Side X Side, and single track trail riding. As well as guests can enjoy miles of hiking, biking, snowshoeing and easy access to backcountry skiing all within a short proximity to the Ranch. HORSEBACK RIDING, MOUNTAIN BIKING, HIKING and snowshoeing can be accessed from the property. Sightseeing can include trips up highway 21 towards Lowman for pizza and abundant wild game watching on your way to one of the areas natural hot springs. There are several “day” trip options once you get here, in every direction. The area is rich in history, with Idaho City’s well preserved historic district offering a glimpse into the past with its charming bricks and boardwalks and “Historic Walking Tours” where the streets are paved in gold.
HUNTING AND FISHING
Idaho City is in hunting unit 39 home to big game including deer, Rocky Mountain elk, mountain lions, and bears not to mention the upland birds. We are located a short 20 minutes from Lucky Peak and Arrowrock reservoir where guests can cast a line for bass, Kokanee, and trout, float a boat for wakeboarding or a day of fun in the sun on a kayak or paddleboard.
KIRKHAM HOT SPRINGS
The natural hot spring at Kirkham Hot Springs is the perfect spot for visitors to enjoy a restorative experience. The hot springs are situated alongside the picturesque Payette River, surrounded by stunning forest scenery. This area has a range of hot pools with different temperatures, making it an ideal place to visit no matter the season. Visitors can enjoy the hot springs’ soothing waters while taking in the beautiful surroundings, making it a perfect addition to any Idaho City itinerary.
LUCKY PEAK STATE PARK
Lucky Peak State Park is a popular destination located just a few miles east of Boise, Idaho. The park sits on the banks of the Boise River and encompasses over 4,000 acres of recreational space. Visitors to Lucky Peak State Park can enjoy a wide variety of activities, including swimming, boating, fishing, hiking, and camping. The park features several boat ramps, picnic areas, and a sandy beach, making it a great spot for family outings and group events. Lucky Peak State Park is also a popular spot for birdwatching and wildlife viewing, with opportunities to spot bald eagles, ospreys, and other native species.
